Diplomats or persons working for certain international organisations are disregarded for Council Tax purposes.
Properties that are occupied by diplomats or persons working for certain international organisations are also exempt from Council Tax.

How to claim a discount
Applicants claiming discount must contact the Council Tax Helpline or write to the Benefits & Taxation Division.

Applicants must inform the Council as soon as possible if there are any changes to their circumstances or information provided. This may affect the Council Tax charge and applicants will have to repay any discount that they are not entitled to.
