Further Information

The library is situated on the ground floor of the Village Hall. Serving a wide area, the Darton Ward Library and Information Centre has ICT and Internet facilities, an on-line catalogue, together with disabled access, toilet facilities and a spacious car park. Adults will find a wide selection of books, distance learning materials, CDs, DVDs and spoken work tapes. There are large print and talking books for the visually impaired. The attractive children's library has a wide selection of books, story tapes and a small play area. A Reader's group meets once a month, on Wednesdays at 2.00pm, and a Toddler group takes place on Tuesdays during term-time at 9.30am. To confirm details of the groups please telephone the library.

A varied range of activities also take place in the Village Hall, these include classes, training courses, leisure activities and a playgroup.
