Summer fun and activities for young people in Gilroyd
YOUNG people in Gilroyd can keep busy over the six-week summer holiday with a range of activities at Gilroyd Social Club, Saville Road, Barnsley.
The free activities, aimed at young people aged 11 to 19, include football, cricket, mini tennis, golf, tag rugby, dance, basketball and scarecrow making.
The days take place from 11am to 3pm on Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 July, then every Wednesday in August.
The event has been organised by the Fenton Community Partnership in conjunction with Barnsley Council's Youth service and Action Space Mobile.
