Summertime activities in the Dearne
Young people in the Dearne can enjoy a summer of fun with activities throughout the school holidays.
Events will run every Monday to Thursday during July and August and are open to all children aged 8-17.
Mondays
Martial Arts, Gladiator War, Art and crafts, 11am-1pm, Dearne Youth Club and Welfare.
Afternoon sports, 2pm-4pm, Phoenix Park.
Tuesdays
Tennis, boxing, football, 5pm-8pm, The Hill, Thurnscoe.
Wednesdays
11am-1pm, Design a T-shirt, healthy eating, Indian head massage, archery, arts and crafts, Dearne Youth Club and Welfare.
2pm-4pm, Afternoon sports and outdoor pursuits, Phoenix Park.
Thursdays
5pm-8pm, Tennis, boxing and football, Mansion Park.
All activities are free and run from Monday 24 July, until Thursday 25 August. The events are open to all young people aged 8-17.
