THERE are plenty of family activities to keep young minds amused this summer at Cannon Hall Museum near Barnsley.
Everyone is on a bug hunt on Saturday, 29 July. Find out which creepy crawlies make their home in the grounds of the garden. Sessions start at 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm. Another hunt takes place on Wednesday 23 August, with sessions at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm.
On Wednesday, 2 August there is a treasure hunt. Will you work out the clues? Join in the fun at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm. There will be more treasure hunts on Saturday, 19 August at 12.30pm and 2pm.
Pond dipping takes place on Wednesday, 9 August. What lurks beneath the surface of Cannon Hall's pond? Find out at sessions starting at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm or visit on Saturday, 26 August at 12.30pm and 2pm.
On Wednesday, 16 August is a seaside scenes craft workshop. This starts at 11.30am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
Make delicious summer fruits drinks on Wednesday 30th August. Workshops start at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm in the Victorian Kitchen.
All activities cost £1 per child and it is advisable to pre book sessions by calling Cannon Hall Museum on 01226 790270.
