Party in the park celebrates work of Barnsley Sure Start
FAMILIES are invited to Barnsley Sure Start's Family and Childcare Festival at Locke Park on Saturday, 17 June, from 10am to 3pm.
The theme of the day is keeping healthy and safe. Among organisations attending the event will be South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, representatives from Barnsley's Children's Centres, St John Ambulance, NHS 5-a-Day, Childminders Together and the Pre-school Learning Alliance.
The day will include face painting, bouncy castle, baby massage and yoga, a display from South Yorkshire Fire Service, tombola, car seat fitting service from Halfords and a free crèche facility.
