Free courses help travellers find the right words
BARNSLEY Council's Adult Learning service is offering a series of language taster courses over the next few months to help you enjoy your holidays.
These taster courses are free of charge and will deal with such topics as ordering food and drink and finding your way around.
The first in the series will be a three-week Spanish course and will begin at Barnsley Centre Library, Shambles Street on Friday, 12 May at 1pm.
There will be further courses in Spanish and French at the library and other venues throughout the borough, including Spanish classes at Priory Campus beginning on Thursday, 8 June and French at Jump Adult and Children's Centre from Friday, 9 June.
