OPEN is a tool to help schools’ to manage the procurement process. It is the only e-procurement tool specifically designed in consultation with schools, based on their needs, and with school specific content. It was developed by the Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF) and is operated in conjunction with their technical partner Proc Serve.
The Brokerage Team is currently working with the DCSF in order to establish a pilot scheme with nine of our schools. These schools will use the system for a period of three months with a view to rolling it out to all of our schools.
