Regulatory Services is one of four service areas in the Environmental Services Directorate and delivers Environmental Health, Trading Standards, Licensing and Bereavement Services functions.
What is the Core Purpose of Regulatory Services?
To contribute to the protection and improvement of the health, safety and well-being and environment of the people who live in, work in, trade in or visit the Borough.
The Service has a major contribution to the Environmental Services Directorates mission to create a Clean, Green and Safe Borough as well as a number of cross-cutting agendas, particularly Public Health, Citizenship, Liveability, Community Safety and Fit for the Future.
