Twenty cemeteries are maintained by the authority; the majority of the cemeteries were inherited as part of the 1974 Local Government reorganisation. There are approximately 650 burials carried out per annum.

Your Funeral Director or staff at Bereavement Services will be able to offer you advice and guidance on arranging a burial.
