Special arrangements can be made to collect Items that are too large for normal waste collections, although there is a charge for this service.

To arrange a collection for large or bulky items you need to ring the Waste Management Helpline. Please refer to the section below.

The bulky items collection service costs £5.00 for one item and £10.00 up to four items and multiples thereof (e.g. if you have five items the cost is £15.00 and six to eight items the cost is £20.00 etc).

You can help by ensuring that you have full details of the address from which the items are to be collected, details of the items to be collected and ensure that the items are put outside in an easily accessible and visible location from the date of payment.
All collections will take place within 10 working days of payment being received. Items MUST be available for this period

How do I get large items collected?
By telephoning the Waste Management Helpline. Please refer to the 'Helplines' section above.
How much does the collection service cost?
£5.00 per item (includes fridges or freezers)
£10.00 for up to four items
£15.00 for 5 items
£20.00 for 6 to 8 items
£25.00 for 7 items
£30.00 for 10 to 12 items and so on.
Do I have to pay separately for friges and freezers?
No. Fridges and freezers are included as any of the items but may be collected at a different time.
When will you collect the items?
Within 10 working days of payment being made.
When should I put the items out?
As soon as payment is made.
Where should I put the items for collection?
Outside in an accessible and easily visible location.
