In Barnsley, the Council, the Primary Care Trust and voluntary sector work closely with other organisations to provide a range of services to people with learning disabilities and their carers, taking into account their needs and wishes.  We aim to provide services and support that promotes independence.  You can find out more about who can get help, the kind of help available and what happens when you apply for help from the information on these web pages.
