Moorland Court is a day centre for adults with enduring mental health problems. The centre offers a wide range of therapies, activities and skills training to help people build self-esteem and confidence. It provides a supportive and stimulating environment to enable people to take control of their own lives and cope better with life problems.
In addition to the day centre staff, a team of community support workers work with people in their own homes to help them to develop life and social skills and increase confidence. Support for families and carers are available if required.

This service is available to people with enduring mental health problems aged 16-65 years, and on (CPA) Care Programme Approach.
Firstly contact your GP, who will refer you to your local Community Mental Health Team.
The Community Mental Health Team will assess you and will make a referral to Moorland Court appropriate by the allocated care co-ordinator.
Copies of the Care Programme Approach are needed these should include client details, care plan, and crisis contingency plan, risk assessment all of these documents are provided by your care
co-ordinator.

Moorland Court Day Centre is open Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm (6.00pm on Wednesday) lunch is also available at a reasonable charge.
