The Department of Psychological Medicine provides care and facilities for patients (16-65) suffering from acute episodes of psychiatric illness.
Referral for this service is direct from the Community Mental Health Team or the Psychiatric Emergency Team.

In-patient wards operate 24 hours per day.
Day Therapy Team operate 9am-9pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm weekends.
