Drop in groups

For a complete list of mental health support services and agencies, including drop-in services, please contact your local Community Mental Health Team and ask to speak to your care coordinator. If you do not have a care coordinator, the duty worker or the team manager will be able to assist you with your query.

The Community Mental Health Team's Central and Dearne Valley offices, both provide a drop-in service.

The service offers emotional and practical support from both staff and group members for people with severe and enduring mental health problems, people undergoing rehabilitation in hospital or in the community and people from group homes.

There is a clinic which provides medical advice and depot injections if required.

A two-course meal is available at a reasonable charge.

Access to the service is gained via your Care co-ordinator.
