The service offers a 24/7 response from specially trained Social Workers to requests for consideration of assessments, and give advice and guidance in relation to Mental Health Act 1983
Individuals who are concerned about someone close to them who is suffering from mental illness and needs immediate help can contact the service for assistance.
Telephone with your initial concerns to the persons doctor or general practitioner if they are not akready known by the Mental Health Services. The Nearest Relative (as defined in Mental Health Act) should seek advice by contacting Community Information Services
