TELECARE
Telecare operates as an extension to the community life line "Central Call". Telecare is remote monitors that automatically raise an alert if a risk is detected. This may be risks such as fire, carbon monoxide, temperature extremes or the danger of falling without being able to contact help. Packages are also available for service users who suffer from memory loss.
If you would like a demonstration of "Telecare" please contact Central Call and we will be delighted to visit you at your home or a place of your choice.
Telecare costs from as little as 50p and a maximum of £1 per week, this is an addition to the charge for community life lines. Community life life charges can be viewed at www.barnsley.gov.uk/centralcall or by calling our office on 01226 775671.
