The Health Visiting service is provided by Barnsley Primary Care Trust services include:
Assessing health needs and planning, implementing and evaluating care to meet these needs.
Offers advice support and education on a range of issues related to health and family support, for example healthy lifestyle advice, parenting support, promotion/management of continence.
Public health and health promotion that can be delivered on a one to one or to groups of people, on topics such as healthy eating, exercise, and smoking cessation.
Delivers Child public health programme and child development assessment programme
