Homelessness and Housing Advice

Summary

Under the 1996 Housing Act (As amended by the 2002 Homelessness Act) the local authority is obliged to provide advice and information about homelessness and the prevention of homelessness free of charge to any one in the borough who requests this. This advice and information is available fro the Homeless and Housing Advice section based at Wellington House Wellington Street Barnsley. Tel: 01226 773870
