The Events Website provides information on many events in and around the Borough of Barnsley, including where and when they are happening. Family fun days, carnivals, health walks, museums, children's events, concerts, talks, specialist markets, cultural events, social groups, slimming clubs, the theatre and much more.

The aim of the events website

The aim of the website is to promote and publicise all local authority, public, private, charitable and voluntary sector activities around the Borough of Barnsley.

Type of events

In the monthly listings, events such as festivals, carnivals, galas, concerts, antique and collectibles fairs, exhibitions, auctions, car boot and jumble sales, charity events, cinema listings, children's and family events, displays, plays, pantomimes, workshops, talks, tours and walks and many more are publicised.

The 'regular' section contains details of daily, weekly and monthly events such as slimming and photographic clubs, meetings, playgroups, nurseries, brownies, guides, scout and cub groups, choir rehearsals, dancing classes, art society meetings, educational courses and much more.

Events are listed in the categories of 'Today' and 'This Week'. Links can be found on the Associated Links section.

Searches can be carried out on events taking place in any month, regular events, and locations, dates, title and description. This link can also be found on the Associated Links section.
