Where are the Farmers markets?

 

Penistone Market holds a monthly farmers market on the second Saturday of every month.

Local farmers and producers of foods and crafts bring the very best local produce direct to the public.

Buying local produce means that the consumer:

• Has fresher food
• Knows where the food was produced
• Knows how it was produced
• Has direct contact with the producer

Local produced:

• Helps all the local businesses and communities
• Allows direct liaison between producers and end-users

Eligibility

 

The market is open to all traders selling more than 50% of their own produce and based within a fifty mile radius of Penistone.

All stalls are let by pre-booking only.
