The Craft Box - Unit 8

Card Making Lessons

Every Wednesday 6pm to 8pm/Thursday 7pm to 9pm/Sunday 9am to 11am

Practical card lessons, featuring rubberstamping and embossing, suitable for all ages and abilities with help always on hand.  £5 per lesson which covers all materials, full use of equipment and refreshments.

Pre-booking essential due to popularity of the classes and limited places per session. 

If you and a number of your friends are interested then seperate group tester sessions can be organised for six people and above.

Scrapbooking

Every fortnight on Fridays 12.30pm to 4.30pm

Classes suitable for all ages and abilities, with qualified help at hand at all times.  £5 per lesson which includes materials, full use of equipment and refreshments.

Driver Experience Courses 2010

The Elsecar Heritage Railway is pleased to offer you the chance to take control of one of our full size heritage railway locomotives for the day.  Experience the excitement of driving/firing a steam or diesel locomotive along the length of our line for the duration of your stay.  A full safety briefing and informative talk will be provided before you take hold of the regulator for the first time and experience the power of steam!

Realistic Creations - Unit 12b

The Art of Creating a Realistic Doll Workshop

Create your own realistic doll with these creative workshops.  Session one, 'Painting Workshop', includes a doll kit & covers all aspects of realistic painting effects, special techniques & theoretical knowledge of supplies used.  Session two, 'Rooting Workshop', is a two hour class covering different quality mohairs, needle guages & techniques used for realistic doll hair & eyelashes.  A third session can be arranged if further assistance is required with assembly of the doll.

Encaustic Art Plus - Unit14b

Wax Painting Workshops

Come along & create your own encaustic art, (wax painting), & take it home framed the same day all for £4 per person.  Walk in workshops available for childrem & adults alike, (please note children must have adult supervision).  Group bookings also available for special events, birthday parties, etc.  For further details or to book a session contact Brian on 07930677227.

Gimme Golf 2 - Unit 15e

School of Magic for the School Holidays!

Want to become a magician?  Then why not come along to one of our magic classes where you will be given an introduction to magic & a 15minute magic show performed by the Great Danolli!  After the magic show you will recieve your very own bag of magic goodies worth £25 & the Great Danolli will then spend time teaching you each trick & help you to perform magic with ease.  Classes run from Monday 20th July to Friday 4th September & last around 45minutes.  Cost per child, £20 which includes magic goody bag, (suitable for children aged between 5 to 13yrs old).
