Members of the public can see the milling process on selected days at Worsbrough Mill, from the grain arriving from the farm, the cleaning of the wheat, the actual grinding of the grain, through to the seperation of white and wholemeal flour. All within the mill's 17th & 19th century buildings.
The white and wholemeal flours are traditionally stone-ground on a pair of 19th Century ''French Burr'' stones powered by a cast iron water wheel, installed in 1865.
Flour ground in the mill can be purchased from the mill shop, along with ice creams, hot and cold drinks, gifts and souvineers (see opening times below).
Strong Stoneground White Flour and Strong Stoneground Wholemeal Flour are available in bags of 6kg - £7.80, 3kg - £3.90 and 1.5kg - £1.95.
Bran and Semolina are available in bags of 500 grams. Bran - 60p, Semolina - £1.00.
Entrance to the Mill Museum is free. A donation box is located within the Mill Shop.
Car park charges apply - Cars, Mini Buses and Light Vans £1.00 per hour, £2.00 all day. Coaches - £5 per day.
Season parking tickets available. £25 for six months or £35 for 12 months, this includes both Worsbrough Mill Museum & Country Park and Cannon Hall Museum, Park & Gardens. Please ring 01226 790207 for more details.

Q: Is there wheelchair access?
A: Yes in the mill shop. Partial access to the museum.
Q: Can we see the milling of flour in action?
A: Yes, on selected days throughout the year, Bank holidays and the last Sunday in the month (during opening season) milling demonstrations take place (subject to change).
Q: When can we buy flour?
A: Flour can be bought during normal shop opening times and out of hours by telephone order. Also at Rob Royd Farm Shop, Genn Lane, Worsbrough.
Q: Is the flour 'stone-ground'?
A: Yes, all the flour milled at Worsbrough Mill is ground traditionally on stones, powered by a waterwheel.
Q: Can we get there by Bus or Train?
A: Yes, Trains to Barnsley then local bus routes to Worsbrough Bridge.
