Worsbrough Mill Museum and Country Park - Venue Hire

Our facilities

Worsbrough Mill Museum and Country Park is available to hire as a venue. Set in a 240 acre Country Park, with local nature reserve status and historical 17th century Water Powered Corn Mill, it is a unique and relaxing location for meetings, conferences and events.

The Mill complex offers 2 rooms.

Room 1 - Meeting Room

A small meeting room for approximately eight people for away days, meetings and team building.

Room 1 - Field Study Centre

A larger room for approximately 25 people theatre style or 14 people boardroom, to conduct training sessions/management meetings.

Size:

Toilet - 2 portaloo across yard

Equipment: - both rooms can have the following equipment on request.

Small Television / Video

Portable flip chart

Portable white board / white board markers

Projector screen

Over Head Projector

Projector Stand

2 (double) plug sockets

Coffee / Tea / Hot Chocolate - 80p per cup (or £1.60 per person for all day)

Lunch can be arranged through BMBC catering or local restaurants.

Charges and fees

No parking charges for delegates (parking for small groups, up private drive, near mill museum. Large group parking in main car park - free parking vouches for mill shop).

Meeting room - Full day £60.00. Half day £33.00.
Field Study Centre - Full day £65.00. Half day £35.00.

Q: Is it suitable for Children?
A: Yes, rooms can be hire for activites with children.

Q: Is there wheelchair access?
A: Meeting Room is accessable. Field Study Centre has 4 steps to main door, ramp access on available through a door around the side.

Q: Can we get there by Bus or Train?
A: Yes, Trains to Barnsley, then local bus routes to Worsbrough Bridge.

Q: Is equipment provided?
A: Yes, equipment provided includes Flip chart, Easel, OHP, Screen, TV/Video and White Board.
