Staincross Golf Course - Corporate Packages and Party Bookings

Summary

 

Golf Society Days, Party bookings, and Corporate Packages are designed to allow you and your colleagues to relax together as a group, or to mix business with pleasure.
They can be arranged and booked up to 12 months in advance by contacting the Resident Golf Professional. Packages range from just a round of golf to a round plus a meal. In addition, they can be tailor made to suit yourselves

 

Eligibility

 

Groups must consist of twelve persons or more

 

Procedure

 

Firstly, you will need to contact the Resident Golf Professional to discuss available dates and to obtain an application form along with details of the packages available.

Once you have completed your application form and specified the date you wish to play, please return your form to the Resident Golf Professional along with a minimum non-refundable deposit of £50. In addition, confirmation of numbers and meal menu options must be received no later than 10 days in advance of the arranged date. If this information is not received, then the booking will be cancelled and the deposit lost. The balance should be paid before play commences, for the number booked, and not the number of persons who turn up on the day. No exceptions are given.

Only one season ticket holder per 4 balls will be accepted for Society Days, but a minimum of 12 paying visitors is what constitutes a Society Booking.

Additional Notes

 

Throughout the year Barnsley golf Course organise, 31 major trophy competitions for men, 12 for ladies and 12 for juniors.
This is in addition to the 12 monthly weekend and 12 midweek medal competitions for each category.

The Clubs achievements during 2002 include:

• Winners of the York and Humberside A.P.G.C 5 man team knockout competition for the 3rd year running
• Winners of the Leeds and District Union of Golf Clubs League Division 3
• Winners of the Champions of Champions Trophy (The Romaine Trophy)

Barnsley Scratch Team champions of their division in the Leeds and District league, giving them promotion for the second successive year.
In addition, to the team achievements there were individual achievements with Scott Turner winning the Leeds and District Best Overall Junior Averages and Kieron Denton representing the Union on 8 occasion, and winning 7 of his 8 matches.
