Insurance sometimes is expensive especially for young male drivers as they are considered as a danger. Overtime of you have never made a claim you accumulate a No Claims Bonus which can substantially reduce the price of your insurance.
ROAD TAX
In the United Kingdom, Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) (often known as road tax) is an annual tax on the use of motor vehicles on the public roads. It is collected and enforced by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).

Your MOT certificate confirms that at the time of the test your vehicle met, as far as can be reasonably determined without dismantling, the minimum acceptable environmental and road safety standards required by law.
