Markets held Tuesday and Saturday (general retail market.)

Tuesday and Saturday, 8.30am to 3pm.

Markets held every Tuesday and Saturday, 8.30am to 3pm. (general retail market)

Thursday (for second hand goods), 7:30am to 12:30pm.

Car parks

The district markets are all adjacent to free parking facilitates which may be used by traders and shoppers.

Traders information

Traders wanting to stand on a market will require two passport photographs and two means of identification showing current address (for example, a recent utility bill).

Access is from junctions 36, 37 and 38 of the M1 with J37 just 1 mile from the Town Hall (S70 2TA).

We have frequent rail services to mainline stations at Sheffield, Wakefield and Leeds. There are also five airports within one hour of the town centre, namely Manchester, Doncaster, Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford, Nottingham East Midlands and Humberside.
