Any activity which involves cooling towers or evaporative condensers within the Barnsley area needs to be registered with Regulatory Services. This may include premises that have air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, even if the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is the normal enforcing authority for health and safety.

Access is from junctions 36, 37 and 38 of the M1 with J37 just 1 mile from the Town Hall (S70 2TA).
