Article: Viewing Planning Applications, Decision Notices and Performance Information Article Body Customers now have the ability to view any planning applications which we have receieved on line via Planning Explorer. This facility gives customers the chance to see the plans submitted, access supporting documentation and also submit any comments that are relevant to the application. This facility also shows any decisions which have been given on an application. Understanding a decision When permission is refused, the decision will state clearly and precisely the full reasons for refusal. When planning permission is granted, the decision includes: a list of the 'Planning Conditions' imposed; a summary of the 'Reasons' for the grant and policies and proposals in the development plan, which are relevant to the decision; and 'Informatives' which are designed to provide further guidance about responsibilities under other legislation, or the need to obtain other approvals, such as highways, listed building or conservation area consent, before work can start.
