Article: Recycling composters Article Body The council is committed to increasing the amount of waste which is re-used, recycled and composted. Home composting is a practical way to help the environment. Compost bins can be obtained at many DIY stores and are also available through Yorkshire Water at a reduced price. Alternatively garden waste can be collected as part of our kerbside collection scheme in your green bin or taken to the household waste recycling centres, where it can then be transported to a local facility and composted.
