Procedure

There are different procedures depending on whether you believe that the person(s) responsible for the flytipping can be identified (or could possibly be identified through further investigation).

For all fly tipping incidents, please provide a specific location of the fly tipping or, for example, the nearest lamp post number, property/shop number or other landmark feature, type of waste, approximate quantities i.e. number of bags, washers, whether the waste contains asbestos

  • e mail Regulatory Services
  • contacting the Councils Environmental Regulatory Unit, on 01226 772468

Persons proved to be guilty of fly tipping will be prosecuted.
