When the library reopens it will be combined with the Barnsley Connects office previously situated in the Wombwell Town Hall. Additional services will be on offer including advice and guidance on benefits and taxation, together with providing access to services for Berneslai Homes. Customers will also be able to use the facilities to make contact with a range of other council services such as Highways, Licensing, Neighbourhood Pride, Planning, Social Services, and Waste Management. The Library and Information Service will also continue as before but with new extended opening hours. During the closure period, books can be borrowed from or returned to any other library and no fines will be charged for items due back during the period. If you have a PIN number, please use the Library Catalogue to search for and renew your books. A Reader's Group meet monthly at the Library and a Story and Rhyme session takes place.
