National Smile Month
Barnsley Central Library will play its part in the campaign for National Smile Month by hosting an Oral Health Awareness stand on Tuesday May 29th, when staff from the Barnsley Community Dental Service will be in attendance promoting the importance of good oral hygiene. While stocks last they will be handing out free toothbrushes and toothpaste and there will be information and advice for visitors to the stand.
Sound and Vision Loyalty Card
Barnsley Libraries now operate a Sound and vision loyalty card scheme for all customers who borrow CDs and DVDs. Customers will receive a loyalty card stamp for each CD or DVD they pay to borrow and when the card is full they will receive a free loan of any CD or DVD in stock - it's as easy as that. Remember all requests for CDs and DVDs in stock are also free.
