The annual canvass ensures we can keep the electoral register up to date and identifies any residents who are not registered to vote so that they can be encouraged to do so. 

We're sending emails to everyone who responded to us online last year. Once received, please follow the steps listed in the email and get back to us before Friday 30 July. If you're not able to do this or have any difficulties, you can call us on 0800 9758343 – make sure you’ve got your security numbers ready (they will be in the email that you receive).

Any new people added to the household will also need to complete a registration application; they can do this at gov.uk/register-to-vote. If they are unable to apply online, we'll send them a form through the post.
