Arts and craft workshops supporting mental wellbeing in Barnsley

With the holidays on the way, get creative with Barnsley's Adult Skills and Community Learning team at their free, festive taster sessions.  

Research shows that learning a new skill can improve mental wellbeing. So, if you're feeling in need of a boost, relax and de-stress with a selection of art and craft activities: 

  • Christmas Craft on Tuesday 30 November and Tuesday 7 December from 12.30pm at Wellington House  
  • Hand Painted Christmas Cards on Wednesday 1 December, and Wednesday 8 December from 10am at Wellington House 
  • Christmas Cupcakes on Friday 3 December and Friday 10 December from 1pm at Cudworth Centre of Excellence 
  • Seasonal Baking on Tuesday 30 November and Tuesday 7 December from 1pm at Cudworth Centre of Excellence
