Tickets are now on sale to join the Mayor of Barnsley, Cllr Jeff Ennis at his Charity Ball which he’s delighted to be hosting on Friday 1 December at The Fairway, Dodworth. Guests are in for an evening of delicious food and top class entertainment – all whilst raising money to support the Cure Myeloma Appeal and Barnsley Riding for the Disabled.
The evening kicks off at 7pm with a drinks reception in the Bluebell Conferencing and Banqueting Suite, followed by a delicious three course meal. Guests are then in for a real musical treat as they sit back and listen to local gospel singer Janine Dyer - who was also a finalist in series five of The Voice.
On the night, the Mayor will also be holding a Sporting Auction where he’ll be auctioning off some fantastic sport-related experiences and memorabilia - including a once in a life time Barnsley Football Club Mascot package. The package for three includes lunch, a behind the scenes tour of the dressing room area, a pre-match kick about, warm up with the first team on the pitch and the chance to lead the teams out prior to kick off.
Also on sale are tickets for the Mayor’s Sporting Raffle which will be drawn during the Charity Ball and includes some amazing prizes, including:
- two signed Barnsley football shirts (home and away)
- hospitality package at Barnsley Football Club including a three course meal, refreshments, executive seating, match day programme and team sheets
- a private box for 24 people at Doncaster Racecourse
- two signed Doncaster Rovers shirts and six tickets to home match
- a Yorkshire Cricket Club shirt, poster and autobiography – all signed by Dickie Bird
