Do you have children or are expecting a child? Give your views on our services

We’ve extended the deadline on our survey aimed at families.

Our council is responsible for commissioning and delivering services for children aged up 19 years (or up to 25 for young people with SEND) and their families.

All families need support from time to time to help their babies and children thrive, whether that’s from friends, family, volunteers, or practitioners.

Our ambition is for every family to receive the support they need when they need it.

All families should have access to the information and tools they need to care for and interact positively with their babies and children, and to look after their own wellbeing.

To help us make sure the services we commission in Barnsley achieve our ambition and meet the needs of our local families we would like to gather the views of parents and carers (and parents-to-be) on services for children, young people and their families in our borough.

We’d like to know what families think are the strengths of local services, and what needs improving, so we have asked Qa Research, an independent social research company, to carry out a survey.

The survey is available to fill in until Sunday 11 June. at https://surveys.qaresearch.co.uk/Barnsleyparents.asp

All responses are confidential and will be reported anonymously.

Everyone who responds has the chance to be entered into a free prize draw to win one of three prizes of high street e-vouchers.
