Advancing Digital has launched a new course directory, making it easier for residents to find the perfect digital course for them.
This new directory now makes it easier for you to search for courses by hundreds of providers. This will help them find the perfect course that covers all their needs and learning requirements.
If you have a job and you live in South Yorkshire, Advancing Digital provides training so you can develop your digital skills. This can improve your performance at work or open new opportunities to progress your career in other roles or industries.
Cllr Tim Cheetham, Barnsley Council's Cabinet Spokesperson for Place (Regeneration and Culture), said: “Digital skills are essential in the modern world of work. With free digital training, anyone who works in South Yorkshire has the opportunity to develop, improve and progress their digital skills, enabling everyone to be the best they can be.”
Courses covering everything from coding to Microsoft Excel are available. You can find out more about the project and the new Advancing Digital course directory here.
Advancing Digital is funded by the European Social Fund and operates in partnership with Barnsley Council, Barnsley College, RNN Group, Sheffield City Council, ITS (Independent Training Services) and Sheffield Hallam University.
