Have your say on report for Barnsley's Pharmacy services

Barnsley’s Health and Wellbeing Board is calling for people to complete a short online survey about the draft version of Barnsley’s Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) 2018-2021.

The consultation asks people if the draft PNA explains what pharmaceutical services are currently available in Barnsley, what the need is for these services and what services Barnsley might need in the future.

Pharmaceutical services include the services people get from your chemist. These services are an important part of the overall health care system, making a major contribution to improving people’s health and wellbeing.

Cllr Sir Steve Houghton, Chair of Barnsley Health and Wellbeing Board said: “Our Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment is produced in line with the government’s requirement.

It’s important that we produce an assessment of  our pharmaceutical services to ensure that we meet local population need and help to improve people’s health and wellbeing in Barnsley.”
