A roadshow aimed at finding out how people with a learning disability or autism can live well is taking place at Barnsley Metrodome, Queens Road, on Wednesday 17 July.
The event has been organised by a group called the Living Well Project - a collection of organisations that have come together to do some work in Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield, and Barnsley.
It wants to hear from local people about what they think of Annual Health Checks and how they are working.
It also wants to share information about keeping well including health screening.
The event is suitable for
- Families and carers
- Support providers
- Social Workers
- Community Teams
- Advocacy providers
- Screening professionals from the NHS

#LiveIt helps us to support the most vulnerable people, making sure they can access support at the earliest possible stage. #OwnIt by keeping your own and your family's health at its best, asking for support when you need it and looking out for your friends and neighbours.
