Land Solve, the land delivery framework designed to help public sector organisations to maximise the value of their surplus land, has created national interest with a number of large projects now in the pipeline for development.
Delivered by NPS Barnsley on behalf of Barnsley Council, the scheme has enjoyed a fantastic year, winning the Innovation Award at the Celebrating Construction in South Yorkshire Awards.
In the latest success, Land Solve has recently featured in the spring edition of the Journal of ACES (The Association of Chief Estates Surveyors and Property Managers in the Public Sector).
The article features Tim Hartley, Head of Asset Management, Barnsley Council, explaining the unique benefits of Land Solve:
“It is a national framework which is simple to use and easy to access.”
“Many public sector organisations have assets that they are not using, they don’t need, or they are not using as effectively as they could. Land Solve enables them to put these assets to better use, giving them access to a team of experts.”
The Land Solve team are proud of the national interest and coverage the scheme is receiving and looking forward to a busy calendar of industry events and a growing pipeline of projects to support over the next few months.
