NPS Group, in conjunction with Barnsley Council, has appointed professionals to its newly procured framework, which assists the public and charitable sectors to maximise the value of their surplus land and securing its development potential.
Land Solve the Land Delivery Framework, has been designed to address the significant reduction in public sector budgets. It will enable clients to access the technical expertise necessary to maximise the value of their assets without risking up front capital. BMBC is the contracting authority, with NPS providing procurement services.
The framework includes Land Broker and Land Advisor services and will deliver support and advice to clients during project development phases (from RIBA Stages 1-4). They may also be used to provide services during and after the construction phase, including acting as the client’s agent and ensuring the project is built out to the agreed specification, programme and outcome.
Appointed Land Brokers:
- Cornerstone Property Assets Ltd
- Keyland Developments Ltd
- Morgan Sindall Investment Ltd
Appointed Land Advisors:
- Arcadis LLP
- Cornerstone Property Assets
- Edward Architectural Services Ltd
- Turner and Townsend Project Management Ltd
The development professionals appointed to the framework have significant expertise in brokering surplus land deals for the public and charitable sectors, designed to achieve stringent overarching objectives to ensure maximum short and long term benefits for clients.
Frances Foster, Director, Finance, Assets and Information Services, said: “The council is delighted that NPS have worked to secure brokers for this framework who are true experts in the industry.
