Road closures to enable Barnsley Crit entertainment

The 2019 #BarnsleyCrit on Friday 19 July is once again attracting the highest level of British cycling, including Olympic and Paralympic heroes Ed Clancy and Dame Sarah Storey. There's a whole host of exciting talent including Robert Scott of Team Wiggins, former Team Sky rider Jon Dibben, and 2017 champion Rebecca Durrell on the start line to create an amazing night of racing.

Now in it's third successive year, following viral images in last year's men's race as champion Tom Pidcock solo'd to victory crossing the line with a one handed wheelie, the event brings in new visitors to what Barnsley town centre has to offer, with a range of bars and eateries to choose from to create an evening fun for all the family. • Regents Street
  • Eastgate
  • Eldon Street
  • Market Hill
  • St Mary’s Place
  • Church Lane
  • Queen Street
  • Kendray Street
  • Regent Street
  • Regent Street South

  • County Way

All on-street parking and loading on the affected street will be suspended from 5am, areas of Upper County Way car park will be closed for team parking from 6pm on Thursday 18 July to 11pm on Friday 19 July after the event has finished.
