The Mayor and Mayoress of Barnsley, Councillor Jeff Ennis and Mrs Margaret Ennis are hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday, 29 September, and would be delighted if residents across Barnsley could join them.
The coffee morning - which is being held in support of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, will take place in the Town Hall’s Reception room between 10am and 12 noon and everyone’s welcome to attend.
There will be no shortage of delicious cakes, buns and yummy treats on offer - as well as plenty of tea, coffee and cold refreshments. It’s a great excuse to catch up with friends over a cuppa and cake - all whilst changing lives by raising money from every slice of cake or scrumptious treat sold and enjoyed!
The Mayor, Councillor Jeff Ennis, said: “We’re delighted to be part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and would be delighted to see as many local residents and employees join us as possible. We’re also really excited about sampling plenty of delicious cakes and treats - at the same time as raising as much money as we can for Macmillan to make sure no one has to ever face cancer alone.”
