ORDER 2018 (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2018
Parts of the County Way car park at Barnsley will be subject to a maximum stay of 3 hours on Saturdays only, with effect from Saturday 29 September 2018. The affected areas are marked and signed within the car park.
The driver of a vehicle will be required to obtain a parking ticket from a ticket machine on entry to the car park and display it on the vehicle for the duration of stay and vehicles will not be permitted to return to any of the limited 3 hour stay areas at any time on the same day.
Although the Order prescribes charges for parking on Saturdays, this will remain free of charge while ever the Council’s free Saturday parking concession is in effect.
A copy of the above-named Order may be viewed on the Council’s web site and at Central Library, Wellington Street, Barnsley.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from 28 September 2018 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
