(PUBLIC FOOTPATH 4 DEARNE)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2020
On 4 October 2021 the Council confirmed the above-named Order, and certified that the provisions of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with. The effect of the Order is to:-
- divert part of public footpath no 4 Dearne which commences at a point 80 metres south east of its junction with School Street at grid ref 4590/0608 and proceeds generally north east for a distance of 150 metres to the railway bridge at grid ref 4601/0615 onto a new line commencing at the same point on School Street aforesaid and proceeding south east for 95 metres to grid ref 4599/0607; and
- create a public footpath commencing on the aforesaid footpath at grid ref 4594/0608 and proceeding south for 7 metres to join Oak Road.
as shown on the order map.

The Order came into force on 4 October 2021 but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from the date on which this notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
