Temporary road closure/no left and right turn/one way restrictionDetails
An order will be made to introduce the following restrictions on a phased basis as works progress, from 11 April 2021 for approximately six weeks:
- Beech Street and Dobie Street – road closed for a distance of 20 metres from junction with Park Road. Diversion route via Cope Street.
- Duke Street – road closed from Park Road to Wood Street. Diversion: Union Street/Sheffield Road/Alhambra Roundabout/Sheffield Road/Park Road.
- Middlesex Street – road closed for a distance of 20 metres from junction with Park Road. Diversion route: Cope Street/Mount Vernon Road/Sheffield Road.
- Park Road – one way restriction allowing traffic to travel from Duke Street towards Sheffield Road only. Also no left turn for traffic travelling onto Sheffield Road. Diversion route: Cemetery Road/Doncaster Road/Stairfoot Roundabout/Doncaster Road/Taylor Row/Sheffield Road.
- Sheffield Road (northbound and southbound) – no left and right turn onto Park Road (in phases). Diversion route: Westway/Dodworth Road/Broadway/Keresforth Hill Road/Park Road.
- Warren Quarry Lane – road closed for a distance of 20 metres from junction with Park Road. Diversion route: Cope Street/Mount Vernon Road/Sheffield Road.
