Introduction to the Internet and Email

This course is designed for learners who already have basic computer skills and who wish to make the most of their online experience.

Length of course

10 weeks x 2 hours per week

Course content

Learners will be able to:

  • send, receive and reply to e-mail messages
  • send, receive and download attachments
  • understand a basic file structure
  • use search engines to find information
  • save web pages
  • understand how to stay safe online

Entry requirements

This course has been designed for learners who want to develop their internet and email skills.  Learners must have some experience of using a computer, be able to use a mouse competently and be familiar with the keyboard.

The cost of the course is £63.00, which includes all tuition and materials.
