OCR Entry Level Certificate in ICT - Entry Level 3

This course is designed for learners who want to step into the digital world - to communicate online, surf the internet safely, effectively and efficiently while developing their knowledge of social media and tablet technology.

Length of course

3.5 hours a week for 10 weeks

Course content

To achieve the qualification you'll need to attend all 8 sessions and complete the following tasks:

  • use different devices to search online and communicate
  • understand how to stay safe on the internet
  • surf and search effectively
  • create and access an email account
  • send and receive emails with attachments
  • advantages and disadvantages of social media
  • discover applications to use in everyday life

Entry requirements

This course has been designed to be accessible to learners who have little or no prior knowledge of the internet or email and want to step into the world of electronic communication and tablet technology.

The cost of the course is £144.40 which includes all tuition, materials and registration fees with the awarding body.
