Our informal and friendly sewing courses cover a wide range of skills and techniques. All levels of skill are catered for from beginners to experienced.

Our sewing courses include:

  • Beginners sewing
  • Intermediate sewing
  • Sew your own project

Length of course

4 to 7 weeks (dependent on length of term)

Course content

Techniques covered may include the following:

  • Sewing machines skills
  • Understanding commercial patterns
  • Decorative effects
  • Construction methods (including seam variations and zip insertion)
  • Pattern cutting (making patterns to fit your body shape)

No previous knowledge is required

Course fees

The cost of the course is £51.40 to £86.20 (dependent on the length of the course), which includes all tuition, and registration fees.

How to apply 

You'll need to book a pre-course telephone assessment before you can start the course, for a short discussion with the tutor to make sure it's suitable for your needs.

The tutor will call you at your chosen appointment time on the phone number you give us when making your booking. The call will take about 15 minutes.
